Fees

Virginia lawyer fees

Since each case is unique, there is no such thing as a universal criminal defense strategy (or, more specifically, a good universal criminal defense strategy). Accordingly, at the Law Office of Faraji Rosenthall, we never publish our fees, online or anywhere else. We understand that each client has different needs, and with ease case comes a new set of unique challenges. We take great efforts to ensure that our prices are reasonable and competitive, and we always offer flat-fee pricing on Virginia cases.

During your free consultation, we will be more than happy to disclose our fee for handling your case, but first, we will need to understand the facts of the case. As an example, our reckless driving fee for a person driving 40 miles per hour will be different than our reckless driving fee for someone driving 120 miles per hour; the facts and risk involved in a more serious case require more time to prepare a solid defense. This difference isn’t just limited to reckless driving; certain cases are inherently more or less complicated than others, even for the same offense. As our fees will vary per case, we can provide a quote very quickly during our initial free consultation.

Flat-Fee Pricing

At the Law Office of Faraji Rosenthall, all Virginia criminal cases are negotiated on a flat-fee basis. We feel that flat-fee pricing presents the option most fair to our clients due to the unpredictable nature of criminal cases. In Northern Virginia, we sometimes you may have to wait hours for prosecutors to arrive, and even then, your case could be carry over or be moved to another day. Flat-fee pricing eliminates the uncertainty and guesswork. It means that a client never has to decide between using a good (possibly time-consuming) strategy, and reasonable fees. Flat-fee pricing allows us to offer the best of both worlds: good legal tactics at reasonable, predictable fees.

During our initial conversation, not only will we explain the strengths and weaknesses of your case, but we will provide potential outcomes you can reasonably expect as well. Lastly, we will provide a written contract detailing the flat fee you will be charged for the handling of your case; you will never pay more in attorney’s fees than the flat fee you are quoted.
